The Catastrophe, Dance With Me
March 13, 2009

1919 songs, 05:07:11:53 total time, 10.62GB and no i-freaking-Pod that can work at all.

throughout the to and from ferry rides, the 2-hour-long bus rides and whenever I was stoning.

But camp wassssssssssss OFF DA HOOOOOOOK. (Only to me though I think)

Dragonboating, tent-pitching, ‘mountain'(actually hill; 391m)-climbing, night-trekking, snorkling, team-building games, cheering, earning a night’s stay in the hotel, group discussions in the evening, charcoal factroy visiting, mangrove reforestation, etc – all of these taught me super duper valuable lessons.

I want to thank Mr Ng for Day 1’s poncho-sacrifice, risking his health.

I want to thank Zhenting and Chengyee for very patiently organising all the acitivities and for extra uber sweetly buying me a pair of slippers.

I want to thank Grace for very very nicely providing support and tissue paper.

I want to thank Weilin for lending me lots of stuff that I didn’t bring, i.e. shower gel, sharing food, etc.

I want to thank the class for being so supportive and always cheering and doing their best to be involved.

Last but not least, I want to thank Shermaine for being my listening ear in VJ and being so sweet all the time, whom without, I would be lost in VJ and always not knowing what to do.

I am probably the only one who thinks I wouldn’t mind going through camp again.

The last night was the scariest and most exciting. Curfew was 12 but whoaaaa after 12 ’cause we overshot time, Shaun was stuck between the ground villas – Jingwen’s, Malyatha(sp?)’s, Mine, and the 14 girl’s one. Well Shaun and all the 14 boys. So, it was kinda scary because the scary teacher(s) were outside so they could only escape at daybreak. So my room had a lodger that night, on the floor of course.

Food was okayyyyy. Palatable the first few days, cooking our own wasssssss an epic fail, kelong food was also palatable (not up to expectations of a kelong) and breakfast at the hotel. Tip for agro: find someway such that your toilets don’t retain the smell of crap.

6 straight days of golf, I’m going to look like the charcoal factory I visited yo. Everyone’s tanned now except for Roxanne, Rohit, Zhanpeng and Chloe.

Plucked a strand of someone’s leg hair BWAHAHAHA. Yes evil evil, it’s probably just short of being braided. Speaking of which, Keeran and his fuzzy eyebrows of raisedness will one day be shaved off by me if he keeps it up. Hahaha Bryan has funny Oakeys. Oakeys not Oakleys. For many many many bucks off, one L is dropped. It costs like 10 bucks!

Tomorrow is gonna be a tiring day. Have tuition and intend on chionging SOME holiday homework. Or something like thattttt. Tomorrow have to do workshop for golf if not name will appear before committee. So totally nobody will complain about me lah. I have awesome etiquette! Or so I think : D.

Right righttttt, gonna go rackey the homework-situation then catch some winks. Guess not gonna tackle chunky monkey. (Oh I lost weight!)

P/s: Just as in remembrance of that awesome concert: Everything Jason Mraz touches looks cool – except Joy Chua.

P/p/s: P-E-G-A-S-U-S! 3rd time in a row we own we won we own we won!

P/p/p/s: GU JUN PYO FTW!

I am a Victorian.

IPO is AWESOME.

I tell you, the PSLs are only one year older than us, but it feels like they’re at least in JC already.

Everything was so fun and okay 09v15 ain’t so bonded yet, but it’s fine, we’re trying! Everyone’s got something quirky though hahah. This place is awesome. IPO lasts 3 days. The whole orientation today had no sign of teachers, it was all PSLs, which I find pretty cool.

RARAMURI!
